Lloydquarter
The Loydkwartier fits in the same development as the Kop van Zuid and Katendrecht, the only difference being that its situated on the north bank. The area lies on the border of the citycenter and Delfshaven. This former harbourdistrict has also been transformed into a high-quality work and residential area, where historical buildings are being flanked by distinct new architecture. In this planning area some 1.775 dwellings of great diversity will eventually emerge. From single-family houses to apartments for single or more person households to lofts, seniorcitizen houses and work/living spaces. The modern charisma of the Loydkwartier is being emphasised by the fact the Loydkwartier focuses mainly on the IT and AV sector.
