About ArchiGuides
Rotterdam ArchiGuides’ objective is to guide insiders and the generally interested, alongside the most characteristic and distinct architecture in Rotterdam. Historical backgrounds, city developments and architectural plans will complete the story.
Rotterdam ArchiGuides makes use of graduates and still studying architecture students (TU Delft, Berlage Institute) for all their architecture excursions. They are fully informed on the architectural background of Rotterdam, but certainly not unfamiliar with all the recent developments in the inner-city, the Lloydquarter and the Kop van Zuid.
Rotterdam ArchiGuides is a continuation of the former ArchiCenter that operated as a local architecture-centre for the stimulation of the amount and level of architecture excursions in the city. They also organized numerous public events in the architectural area. In 2004 Rotterdam ArchiGuides took over and increased the ArchiCenter’s excursion program, making only one organization responsible for a highly qualified and diverse excursion program.
