Together with an experienced an enthusiastic guide you will walk past the versatile architecture of Rottterdam. You’ll start at the Southbank (Kop van Zuid) with a cup of coffee amidst some impressive highrise. You will than walk across the Erasmusbridge with a spectacular view on the skyline of Rotterdam. At the city’s scale model you will get a better understanding of the way the city is shaped and why it’s shaped the way it is. You will have lunch at Rem Koolhaas’ Kunsthal, visit one of the highlights of Modernist living in Rotterdam, Sonneveld House. If wanted you can also visit the Netherlands Architecture Institute. In a short period of time you will get a very complete view of Rotterdam and its modern architecture.
